	I plan to be in Moscow August 17 to 22 for the Eighth International
Congress in Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science.  My colleague
Vladimir Lifschitz and I are giving a joint paper on non-monotonic
reasoning.  It would be
interesting to visit you before (or possibly after) the Congress.
I would also welcome your advice about people in the Soviet Union
with whom I would have common scientific interests.  I have also
